The board of directors of “Marathon Group” participated in the Pakistan-Azerbaijan business conference

An Azerbaijan-Pakistan business conference was held in Baku with the support of the Ministry of Economy, the joint organization of the Export and Investment Promotion Agency – AZPROMO and the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In addition to officials from both countries, representatives of companies operating in industry, construction, textile, information technology, healthcare, food, tourism and other fields took part in the event.

Deputy Minister of Economy Sahib Mammadov emphasized the close friendship and fraternal relations with Pakistan and the continuous development of relations between the parties. Pointing out that there is great potential for further expansion of partnership between our countries, the deputy minister emphasized the importance of the events held with the participation of business circles in the expansion of economic and trade relations.

There are ample opportunities for cooperation between the business communities of Azerbaijan and Pakistan. Orkhan Mammadov, Chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA), said this.

Along with officials, about 250 businessmen operating in industry, agriculture, pharmacy, construction, insurance, tourism, logistics and other fields from both sides participated in the event.

At the conference, the director of “Marathon Group” company, Farid Hasanzade, put forward various proposals for close cooperation between Pakistan and Azerbaijan in the field of educational innovation and education. Discussions were held on the development of bilateral relations in the field of education.

It was stated in the speech that measures are being taken to establish cooperation between the Agency and Pakistan’s SME Development Organization. It is planned to exchange experience and implement joint initiatives among businessmen.
