A special event dedicated to the Restoration of Latvia’s Independence Day on May 4 was held at the Binagadi District Central House of Culture. At the event, a meeting of our representatives of the “Marathon Group” Company took place with Viya Busha, the charge d’affaires of the Republic of Latvia in Azerbaijan.
Prospective opportunities for the development of economic and cultural relations between Azerbaijan and Latvia were discussed at the event. In order to increase the cooperation between these countries in the field of education, trade and tourism, mutual views were exchanged to strengthen the cooperation.
Viya Busha also met with the employees of the “Marathon Group” company and exchanged views on a number of issues related to mutual cooperation. During the meetings, the parties exchanged views on the activity of the structure they represent, the work done, trainings and seminars, programs, projects, start-ups, and new opportunities for cooperation between the respective faculties at the bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral levels.
A commemorative gift made of national ornaments was presented to Mrs. Viya Busha by our company.
