Rector of Bilecik Sheikh Edebali University Prof. Dr. Şükrü Beydemir met with Cahit Bagci, the Turkish ambassador to Baku, where he visited Azerbaijan to discuss a number of educational issues. Rector Beydemir was accompanied by his main deputy Özgür Özcan and university coordinator for work with foreign students Murat Yatagan. In addition, the director of our company, Farid Hasanzade, attended the meeting as a special guest.
During the meeting, information was exchanged about academic cooperation with Azerbaijani universities and also about Azerbaijani students studying at Sheikh Edebali University, in which the director of our company, Farid Hasanzade, fully assessed the current situation. In his speech, Mr. Farid talked about the interest of our students in Turkish universities in our country, the annual number of applications and admissions, the work done as a “Marmara Group” company and the implemented projects.
