On March 2, an event dedicated to the restoration of Lithuania’s Independence Day was organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in Azerbaijan. Farid Hasanzade, head of “Marmara Group” company operating under “MARATHON Group” participated in the event. Farid Hasanzade thanked the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Lithuania to Azerbaijan Mr. Egidijus Navikas and the first secretary-consul of the embassy Mr. Andrejus Gajosinskas for the invitation.
During the meeting with Mr. Egidijus Navikasa, the head of our company, Farid Hasanzade, noted that one of the main directions of raising the cooperation between the two countries to a higher level is education, student exchange between the country’s universities, and close relations with the universities to improve the educational opportunities of our students in Lithuanian universities.
In addition, Mr. Farid said that despite the fact that “Marmara Group” as an education abroad company has projects aimed at Lithuanian educational institutions such as education, universities, student life, in short, education abroad, these issues should be approached more systematically and planned. The ambassador, in turn, thanked Mr. Farid for our education-oriented activities in Lithuania and noted that his support will be provided in this direction.
